Mulberry River Cam Gauge

Postby gwpartain » Tue Feb 23, 2016 12:06 am

We've stuck a tiny linux machine on a tree and trained it to take pictures of the Mulberry! Good Times! This project is still in beta but maybe it will be helpful for those planning a trip on the Mulberry. The stick gauge is about 3 miles above the Garden City put in. Still working on a correlation with the old 31 bridge painted gauge but here are a couple of observed readings:
stick 1.5 ft = bridge 2 ft
stick 4.5 ft = bridge 4.5 ft

The bottom of the numbers on the stick marks the start of that foot increment. The other marks are from previous test runs.

Here is a link to the gauge visual:

Again this is in beta so there may be a few glitches here and there. The images update every 15 minutes. The last image taken is shown so when it gets dark outside the last image will be solid black. Future feature is to provide a last 24/48hrs view.

Thanks to Ryan Stephens for help with this project.
