What all rivers did you paddle? I want to head out there early next summer for 2 weeks of boating or so. I recognize the classics by name, but don't know where they are located in relation to anything else. If you were to pick a home base town to stay in that would get you close to the most runs what would it be? Or is there a good bit of driving between runs regardless?

Great video man!

If I were you I would have a couple of plans so that you could react to water levels that will be affected by weather, snow pack, etc...... you get the picture. Crested Butte is a good base for fun, low stress, no shuttle kayaking and the camping is excellent. There will be several regions that you could stay in and hit multiple runs. not to mention the stops on the way to your destination or destinations. its hard to mess up going to CO because there are many options.
